Our story
Documentation used to have one kind of reader: a person on a website, looking for an answer. That reader is no longer alone. The first reader of a company’s knowledge is now as likely to be an AI agent: a coding assistant looking up an API, a support bot answering a customer, an internal agent following a runbook.
Most knowledge was never built for that. It is spread across wikis, repositories, help centers, and PDFs, and it falls out of date the week a feature ships. A person reading a stale page might notice. An agent reading one answers with confidence, and is wrong.
We started Documentation.AI to fix the layer underneath. Not another place to write things down, but the system every reader of a company’s knowledge goes through: one governed source, kept current by AI as the product changes, and served with the same accuracy to people and to agents.
Today, teams from fast-growing start-ups to established enterprises, Shiprocket, Seclore, and Protecto among them, run their product guides, API references, help centers, and internal knowledge on Documentation.AI.
